Whole chicken:
Sale Price $5.20/lb. Standard $5.50/lb.
Whole Chicken Cut-Up:
Sale Price $5.45/lb. Standard $5.75/lb.
What does a chicken weigh?
On average our chickens weigh between 4.5-5.5 lbs. If you like heavier birds there is a spot on our order form where you can let us know that.
Where do you deliver?
We currently have drops as far north as Mosinee, WI, and as far south as Madison, and several other places in between.

If there is enough interest in a particular area, we can also add a new drop location.
Do you offer a subscription?
Yes! We are offering a subscription option this year.
You may select the number of birds you want per drop, and we will deliver them on the dates you select from our list. (We handle the storage for you!)
How will I get my order?
When you reserve your chicken, you may select the date(s) that you would like to receive your order/subscription and a preferred delivery location. We will meet you at these locations with your order.
Can I add more chickens to my order later?
Yes! You can add more chickens to your order at any time, and we will do our best to help add those to your order. Although, we recommend pre-ordering as many as you can early in the year as we can’t guarantee what we will have available later in the year.
How are the chickens raised?
We order our non-vaccinated baby chicks from a hatchery, which ships them directly to the farm. During this time, chicks are nourished by the remainder of their yolk membranes.
After we receive the chicks, at about one or two days old, they go into the brooder, which we keep nice and warm for them. Then we begin feeding them certified organic feed. After about three weeks they start to have enough feathers, and are old enough that we can put them out on pasture. This is where they will stay for the rest of their time on the farm, continuing to be fed and moved one or two times per day to fresh grass. At about 9 weeks we take them to be processed, packaged, and prepared for delivery.
