Welcome to 2026! We had a wonderful 2025, and we are looking forward to another year of providing our customers in southern Wisconsin with wholesome meat from here on the Cadwell farm. Read to the end for info regarding upcoming chicken pre-orders!
We had a cold snap hit us through most of the month of December, along with plenty of snow.
But a couple weeks ago we had a lovely bit of warm weather come through, which melted the snow enough to let the sheep get out and graze a bit of winter stockpile.
And the cattle seemed quite pleased, in their quiet way, to have a break from the sub-zero days and to do a little grazing around what’s left of the snow.
